Seminar for Academic Publishers

The Philippine Association of Scholarly and Academic Publishers, Inc. (PASAP), will hold a seminar on How to Be Successful as an Academic Publisher in Far Eastern University, Sampaloc, Manila, on 16 July 2010, Friday, from 1 to 5 p.m.  Registration is open to all representatives of university and college publishing houses.  There will be a P100 charge for snacks.

The seminar will feature talks on "How to Join PASAP" (Malou Camagay, Director of the University of the Philippines Press), "Transforming a Thesis or Dissertation into a Scholarly Book" (Isagani R. Cruz, Executive Publisher of De La Salle University Publications Office), "The Editorial Process from Submission of Manuscript to Sending to the Printer" (Maricor Baytion, Director of the Ateneo de Manila University Press), "Practical Tips on How To Be Cost-Effective in Book Production" (Agnes Malcampo, Director of Far Eastern University Publications), and "How to Market and Sell Your Books" (Abdon Balde Jr., Marketing Consultant of National Book Store).
